Copywriting for blogs and online

Copywriting for blogs and online

When we’re not writing website copy, most of our copywriting projects for clients are what we call ‘copywriting for blogs and online’. That is, they involve writing articles for an online audience – either for a blog, for an email newsletter, or for an online magazine of some sort.

While we don’t claim to be experts on every subject under the sun, we will ensure we’re clued up by thoroughly researching the subject about which you’ve asked us to write – including speaking with you and/or your team at length – to ensure we understand the subject and are clear about the points you want to make in your articles.

Our copywriting for blogs and online service could include posts for your own blog, under your name (‘ghost blogging’); writing the content for your newsletters; writing copy for your website’s articles archive or blog with our own name added to your list of authors; or even writing editorial or blog posts under your name for other websites – for example, a professional body of which you’re a member.

Ghost blogging is the most popular type of online copywriting service debbidoo provides. It’s particularly useful if you struggle with ideas for your own blog, or don’t have the time to keep it updated.

We don’t currently offer any fixed packages or pricing; we tailor our ghost blogging service to your precise needs, including article length, subject matter, and frequency.

We can provide blog posts as Word documents, text files or in HTML, ready for you to copy and paste into your blog yourself. Or if you prefer, you can set us up with our own login for your blog, so we can add posts to your blog ourselves, adding relevant images and videos as required. We can even provide a full blog management service if that’s your preference.

If you haven’t decided on themes for your articles, we can provide a plan and a schedule for your posts. We can write your blog posts to coincide with important times in the year for your industry, and we can mix and match different styles and themes in a way that’s appropriate for your organisation and your audiences.
